I believe it IS a way that mutual funds keep you investing and that they want you to buy and hold. I am not a market timer myself but do believe in the validity of ACTIVE money management. Buy and hold is only useful when you have rising investments. I believe we are in a flat to declining market so strategic investing should outperform buy and hold over the next 5-10 years...

Hi, as a market timer, I've been studying the impact of rebalancing your portfolio based on my own market timing studies. Most of wat I have read (out of vanguard) is that there is no impact other than reduced volatility. But that just makes no sense. I see it as the mutual fund companies telling you not to move your assets so as to make their job of positioning funds easier... Thoughts?

It is actually a great honour for me to sense the passion you have for the things affecting the things God created. If everybody should have the mind of Christ, things would have been fair enough. But one thing He said was,"the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few.Pray that the Lord of harvest would send more labourers".This is also a thing I think we Christians can do in accordance. Thanks for your Stewardship to the Lord. The Lord bless You with His reward.

[...] 3- Lowers interest incrual, protects from rising rates. Interest accrual is cut by as much as 80% when compared to other borrowing methods such as; conventional mortgages, credit cards, personal loans, other. By applying safe positive leverage, use your equity for your major expenses in the future in lieu of taking out costly loans, creating new payments, or charging up credit cards. A LOC interest rate will be several points lower than if loans you take from banks when rates start to rise. While banks are lending at 15%, you will be borrowing at 9.5%. Make sure your LOC is rate capped before entering into an agreement with a financial institution.Source: jayperoni.com [...]

I would add as an important principal in business is never make a decision without consulting your "CEO". I have daily "meetings" with Him. Sometimes He answers quickly and sometimes He doesn't. I've learned much patience. The times I've decided to go ahead and act without waiting, I fail. But, what I love about my BOSS is that He always has a backup plan, for His plans can be postponed by our lack of faith in Him but never stopped. Since I decided to have God as my boss, I have been able to rest more and have less stress...not that there isn't any...it can be hard...but His compensation benefits are just exceedingly full of grace, mercy, love and faithfulness. Though I may fail, He never let's me go. He believes in me, knows me and uses my weakness to build His business even higher. I love this job... I've never had a greater "fear" or desire to do a good job. As for retirement...I'm looking forward to an eternity of wonderful in Heavenly Heights Kingdom.
