As Christians in the financial marketplace, Jesus assigned us one of our key roles in His Sermon on the Mount - Matthew 5:14 " You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." He continues in verse 16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." God is calling His people in business to be the beacons of doing business His Way! Especially NOW, as our great nation is still experiencing the worse recession, since the Depression of the 1930's. The world doesn't need another Bernie Madoff to show the results of deceit, greed and fraud in the financial world. Now is the time to allow the Light of our Lord Jesus Christ to shine through our business practices. Jesus said it best in John 4:35b "I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." We've been tasked to "enlighten" the business world that there's another way - God's Way!
