My husband and I have been through financial hell and back. We could have taken the easy road and declared bankruptcy, however, we wanted to stay true to Romans 13:7, “Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor”. It has been a tough road, but we are back to paying all creditors except one (which we are waiting for original creditor information) and then we can start paying it down. We are proud of our efforts and are confident that the LORD will do what he says he will do which is MOVE THE MOUNTAIN OF DEBT through elimination!! Matthew 17:20, “He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
On March 12th, I was laid off from my job due to “cost cutting” reasons. I am currently on unemployment.
The job market in my specified field has very little openings. I am considering going into business for myself. I am standing upon God’s Word daily that will provide all of my needs according to His riches and glory throihg Christ Jesus and that though I may commit my plans to the Lord, but He will give the right answer.
I believe that this Thrive Don’t just Survive course will allow me to prosper greatly and become what God called me to do for my life and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
I’m new to the business of advising people on life and money. I need a faith based mentor. Simply put. I signed up for an MBA/CFP program at a “christian” college I thought would provide some faith based input but have found the place to be a spiritual void. I’ve had posts deleted for being “too religious.” Even worse, the current professor has a history of teaching meditation and mysticism. Since I’m in this business, an investment in myself will have an exponential return on investment.
I am a CPA in public accounting practice and believe that the Lord has called me into this position in order to influence people’s lives for Him. My calling is to teach and model Biblical principles of tithing, spending, investing, saving, etc. because these principles are eternal principles. A client can budget, save, tithe, and invest but without having a personal relationship with the Lord, their focus is on this life alone which will soon pass and will not be focused on laying up treasures for the Kingdom. It would be a privilege to be chosen to take Jay’s course because I believe that he is one who is genuinely teaching and modeling the truth of being a wise Biblical steward.
The pit I have been in has been deep, dark and long. Our Lord has helped myself and my children though this difficult time, and as he promises.
I have just experienced the humbling experience of a divorce after 30 years of marriage, a father who has swept the children’s savings accounts clean, and in many other ways has diverted our finances while turning his back on his family.
Left with sole responsibility for the house payments, college tuition for the children and all expenses, I have been placed in a position of complete trust in our Lord, and am in amazement each day as he continues to be there for us, and continues to turn a very negative event into positives.
I am so excited that I have found you; a faith based Investment Company that will help me no focus on being a good steward of Gods assets.
With training, and lots of empathy I have learned from my bloody knees of this life’s story, I would hope that I can help others who are struggling, while restoring and growing myself.
I have recently invested all my remaining savings with Faith based Investing. As I acquire more funds, I would like to know how to invest with confidence that my selections are Faith Based where I can honer the Lord with a good percentage of gains.
My wife and I have been married for twenty three years. We are debt-free. We have scrimped and worked diligently to arrive at this place about two years ago. You might say we don’t deserve it because we can afford the class. I say we are big time givers above our tithe and help lots of other folks and worthy charitable causes. We’ve made lots of so-called sacrifices along the way to get here. No cable tv for twenty years, etc. The more we learn and prosper, the more we can help others. Thanks for the consideration. To God be all the glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After a tough divorce, I have put God in charge of my life.
My two children are my priority and building a life and future for them and myself via God’s principles is my main goal.
We have all been dealt obstacles and blows in our lives. When my ex-wife left, she did so with my best friend. They lied, cheated and manipulated their way to gaining control of my business and my possessions. I lost my home in the process as well. To add insult to injury, now that they have the business, they manipulate the books to claim no income. So I’m forced to pay substantial amounts of child support as well.
I have learned how the physical possessions mean nothing. However, I’m now trying to rebuild a life with little means, so I must be as efficient and as saavy as possible.
My lack of financial knowledge has hurt me considerably. This time around, I want to place my trust in someone who has the knowledge, my best interests and God’s bests interests at heart. I’m hoping that working with Mr. Peroni will get me off to the right start.
Thank you.
I’m a single mom working two part time jobs (both in schools), totaling 35 hours a week, for 10 months a year. The second job is new this year so my income has increased 1 1/2 times and, including child support, totals $31,000 for the year . I would love to create enough income to stay home and home school my son. But, until then, I want to be a good steward of what God has given me. I have little saved in a retirement fund and no savings to speak of. This is frightening at times but, trust the Lord to get us through any emergency we encounter. I have been just getting by but, have to be more vigilant and frugal to create a nice financial cushion for the future.
I believe your course will give me the much needed boost to get serious about my finances and stay motivated to keep going. This is the most money I have ever made (which is sad) so, I want to make it stretch as far as I can. Thank you for giving me a chance at this opportunity!
Jay,
I’m not sure if I deserve it, but I would appreciate free training. Not only for myself, but so that I could help my friends, family, and others. It would be like paying it forward. What you invest in me would be invested in multiple others.
At 53 years old, I am trusting God to work in our lives. My wife works a job
while I tend the house and run a small business I started a year and a half ago in faith.
We don’t have all the resources needed for our special needs daughter, like
good insurance, so it has been a costly road so far. We keep God in the drivers seat in our lives, If it is his will, we will become better stewards with this training.
God bless.
The reason I would like to be considered for the free training is because I need it and right now can not afford it. I recently (within the last 5 years) purchased two rental properties (using a ELC). The real estate market dipped and forced us to sell our home and two rentals properties(short sales). This has caused a lot of stress in the family (wife and two daughters). Currently I have a negative cash flow. I have been doing things my way and would like to do it God’s way. I need to be trained had to do it God’s way. I would also pass this information on to my daughters. I am committed and would be a good student. Please consider me for this wonderful opportunity.
God Bless,
Tom
I have been a saver all my life until I got married. Over the years I noticed my three sisters assets grow in real estate although they had little savings. I however had lots of savings but not even close to the amount they had in assets due to investing in real estate. A lesson learned, make your money work for you. Last year I found your website and signed up for your newsletter and bought a few stocks. I also have a bit of equity built up in my house [yes I finally bought some real estate] so I am on my way.
The reason I’m interested is that when I signed up for you newsletter I emailed a question to your office, The next day you personally called me to address my question.
People don’t care how much you know
until they know how much you care.
